Celebrating South Africa’s Trucking Heroes: The #ThankYouTrucker Campaign Relaunches

The trucking industry is vital to South Africa’s economy, ensuring the efficient transport of goods across the country. In recognition of the exceptional work of truck drivers, Iveco, in partnership with the Road Freight Association, has relaunched the #ThankYouTrucker campaign.

Company owners, operations managers, direct line managers, and fleet managers are encouraged to nominate truck drivers who exhibit outstanding dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.

Now in its fourth year, the #ThankYouTrucker initiative celebrates the exceptional truck drivers who keep our supply chains operational.

The nomination period is open until 15 August 2024. Eligible nominees must be South African drivers in the road freight industry. Additionally, nominators have a chance to win a R10,000 cash prize if their nominee is chosen as the winner.
