RAF WINS AT STANDARD BANK TOP WOMEN AWARDS

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) was announced as the winner at the Standard Bank Top Women Awards, on Friday 02 October 2020, in the category: Organisation Award: Public Sector. The award recognises the role played by the RAF towards gender empowerment. In the Public Sector category, the RAF competed against other public sector entities.

The Standard Bank Top Women Awards celebrate South African public and private sector organisations that prioritise gender empowerment within their business. The forum is a well-established platform with publications, awards and conferences and drives awareness around the value and impact of women in leadership. The annual Standard Bank Top Women Leaders publication, backed by nearly 16 years of research, is the country’s authoritative source on the top gender-empowered companies.

The RAF is at the forefront of gender awareness and empowerment within all functions of the business. The Fund boosts over 60% women leaders across its senior, general management and executive level positions. Uplifting and recognizing women within the RAF has always been a key focus for the organisation. Internally, programmes have been established to drive career growth for all women employees.
