For the third year running, South Africa’s leading low-cost airline, FlySafair is the headline sponsor of the much-anticipated annual summer concert series Get Lucky Summer.
Billed as the Garden Route’s most iconic live music concert series, FlySafair Get Lucky Summer is led by South Africa’s own live-electronic music icons, GoodLuck. Now in its eighth year, the concert series brings together an array of home-grown musicians to delight fans of superb music.
This season promises to be the most unforgettable to date. Audiences can look forward to a stellar lineup of South African talent including GoodLuck, Zakes Bantwini, The Parlotones, Jeremy Loops, Jesse Clegg, Prime Circle, and Bok van Blerk, amongst others.
This year, the vibrant concert series will run from 7 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, gracing audiences in Cape Town, Plettenberg Bay, and Knysna.
”Sponsoring this event again is a natural fit for us, as both FlySafair and Get Lucky Summer celebrates the wealth of talent and diversity that makes South Africa such a rich culture,” explains Kirby Gordon, Chief Marketing Officer at FlySafair.
The series is not only renowned for world-class performances, but also for a family-friendly atmosphere. It offers attendees the chance to relax and enjoy an unforgettable sunset concert experience, fully stocked bars and facilities, an exclusive VIP viewing deck and delicious food.

As it has demonstrated throughout the year, FlySafair is proud to support initiatives that bring communities together and celebrate local talent, whether that be on the sports field – with its sponsorship of the Springboks and the Proteas – or on the stage.
”Our sponsorship of FlySafair Get Lucky Summer underscores our commitment to connecting people to meaningful experiences as well as our commitment to supporting the arts. Along with our newly announced competition giving away R1 million in flight vouchers, FlySafair Get Lucky Summer is a fantastic way to send off the year and usher in a new one on a high note,” concludes Gordon.
