Metrorail Gauteng will be running FREE trains from Johannesburg Station to Nasrec Station (FNB stadium) on behalf of organisers of the Carling Black Label Champion Cup on Saturday, 29 July 2017. Fans planning to use special trains on this day will be required to produce their valid match ticket to access Metrorail Park station in Johannesburg.
Four shuttle trains has been arranged to move soccer fans to FNB as per the schedule below.
From Johannesburg Station to Nasrec (to the game)
Train 2256 will depart @ 13h00
Train 2258Â will depart @ 13h50
From Nasrec to Johannesburg Station (after the game)
Train 2243Â will depart @ 18h00
Train 2247 will depart @ 18h45
Commuters are advised to arrive on time as no addition special trains will be arranged outside of the above schedule.
All other trains from different corridors to Johannesburg will run as per normal train schedule and commuters will be expected to pay a related fare to use the service.
